1) Adolescent Mental Health Tool Kit with the Adolescent Health Working Group
2) Development of Child/Adolescent Abuse Rotation for trainees at UCSF
3) Research: Working on an intervention to improve contraceptive use and reduce unintended pregnancy at the New Generation Health Center. This project is a randomized trial to evaluate the effectiveness of enhanced counselor follow-up of female teens clients at the NGHC.
Community Partners: Member of Adolescent Health Working Group, and the Adolescent Behavioral Health Working Group, Board member for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Center, Chair of the Youth Committee, for the American Academy of Pediatrics, Chapter 1, and a few other things with the AAP.
Personal Interests: Everything about San Francisco/Bay Area (except finding parking), wine, good food, theatre, music, running, skiing, my "child"--Gizmo a Jack Russell Terrier, travel, and as what many of my patients often tell me"hanging with friends"
