Clinical trials test the safety and effectiveness of new drugs, devices, and other treatments. There may or may not be a direct benefit to the patient, but the information obtained from the study will potentially help other patients in the future, and will certainly add to the body of knowledge that we have about Pediatric Cardiovascular Disease.
