Ronn E. Tanel, M.D.
Dr. Ronn Tanel is director of the Pediatric Arrhythmia Center at UCSF. His clinical interests include the medical and interventional treatments of cardiac arrhythmias in children and adolescents. In addition, he is interested in the treatment of the fetus and young adult with congenital heart disease who develop arrhythmias. Dr. Tanel’s research interests include the characterization of arrhythmias that occur following repair of congenital heart disease and the understanding of the natural history of arrhythmias in children. He is also interested in the long-term follow-up of children who have undergone catheter ablation therapy. Dr. Tanel completed his pediatric cardiology fellowship and additional training in pediatric electrophysiology at Children’s Hospital, Boston. He was an attending electrophysiologist at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia from 1998-2008.
