    • Nutrient effect on intestinal adaptation
    • Use of trophic factors in intestinal adaptation
  • Intestinal transplantation:
    • Role of enteric flora in acute and chronic rejection
    • Targeting immunomodulation to the intestine, minimizing systemic immunosuppression
  • Intestinal immunology:
    • Development of the systemic and mucosal immune response following bowel resection in neonates
