Huntington Disease
The UCSF Huntington Disease Counseling and Testing Clinic was established in 1990. Genetic counseling is provided for individuals and families regarding Huntington Disease (HD) and the sensitive complexities of molecular DNA analysis. Additional services include: laboratory analysis for predictive, confirmatory and prenatal diagnosis; neurological evaluation; neuropsychological assessment; social services; support group; clinical and basic science research and medical/psychological management. The HD Clinic works in association with the multidisciplinary team at the USCF Memory and Aging Center. www.memory.ucsf.edu.
