![]() Training and Fellowship Programs
The LEAH program is an interdisciplinary training program supported by a grant from the Maternal Child Health Bureau, Health Resources and Services Administration, Public Health Service, Department of Health and Human Services.
The three-year Adolescent Medicine Fellowship Program is accredited by the ACGME (Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education). Successful completion of the program will enable physicians to meet the eligibility criteria for certification by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Internal Medicine. The program has the major objective of developing leadership expertise in the area of Adolescent Medicine.
To promote interest in science, medicine, and health among young people, the Department of Pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco has created a new summer internship program for entering junior and senior high school students. The goal of the program is to introduce students to the world of science and get them excited about science-related fields. |
